ART/FORM is an ongoing monthly gathering of artists of all mediums at Christ Church. Together we are sharing ART, having regular opportunities to present and receive constructive feedback; and being FORMED, through readings, special guests, and discussion.
And of course, artistic fellowship and plenty of snacks are always on the menu.
We meet on the 2nd Friday of every month in the large meeting room at 112 Medina St. This month, we’ll be watching a short video together about Stephen Mason (of Jars of Clay, pictured above) and his vocational journey, and discuss what his insights mean for us as artists and followers of Christ.
Everyone is welcome – bring some snacks to share, bring a friend. See you on the 8th!
East Austin Studio Tour, Nov 16–17 & 23–24
Christ Church is thrilled to once again be hosting an exhibition of Christ Church artists for the East Austin Studio Tour (EAST). We are stop #465.
This year, we will have work from fourteen artists on display in the Parish Hall and throughout the grounds, including Matt Evans, Shaun Fox, Jan Florence Garven, Bev Harstad, Matthew Henry, Billy Hollis, Cheryl Kaufman, Eric Kaufman, Amy McCullough Mosley, Bryson Owen, Mark Purcell, Cali Riffee, Suzanna Santostefano, and Caleigh Taylor.
