Summer of Faith + Literature

Read the story first, and then join us for a guided discussion of Flannery O’Connor’s short story, “Revelation,” at 1:30pm in the Parish Hall. BYO lunch.

Note: Some of O’Connor’s writings employ language that is quite offensive, especially racial slurs.  She used this language to point out hypocrisy, bigotry, etc., in her characters.  Her stories paint a valuable cultural picture of the American South during the Civil Rights Movement era, and should be understood as such.
